After getting back from my December holiday I noticed that even with perfect signal (59 dbm) I was not able to to browse or for that matter do anything Internet related. I thought it might be a network issue which Cell C confirmed. When the issue persisted I opened up a technical ticket regarding this problem. From this point forward I had to phone in for updates, because I just didn't get any updates from Cell C. Fast forward 3 weeks, in which I had to call in for periodic updates and having to go through a situation where I was being bounced between the accounts, re-tensions and technical departments and promises of help and follow up calls that never happened, 21 Days after i had opened the ticket, the technician confirmed what I had told them when i opened the call, there is MAJOR congestion on the tower I was using. We're now on day 28. I have had no help, shocking service from Yaliwe Ngomane from re-tensions (putting me on hold, then dropping the cal after putting me on hold for 15 minutes and then sending me an email saying Cell C will not cancel my contract). I was promised callbacks, did not happen, refunds, did not happen, help that never came andI still have to pay!
