I have an insurance contract with MTN for an Iphone 4. I duly upgrade my phone to a Samsung S3 which i have been using for a couple of months now. On coming to the office one Monday i found that my Iphone 4 battery had expanded and caused my phone to split. I called to duly claim and was told because my sim card was not in the Iphone they would not process my claim. Now i ask them two weeks ago to provide me with a copy of my policy that states this. One chap said he would send me policy, i am still waiting. I then called again on Thurday last week, and i had the same argument with a person there and again i asked that he send me the policy i signed, he said i would have it by COB on Thursday, 27/02. I am still waiting. As i type this i on hold at the call centre and have been since 14h45. I have been with MTN for years and have spent thousands of rands with, but i will never again have another contract with them, thy dont stick to timelines, and they expect us to hold for 30 minutes to get some assistance. This is nonesence. Clearly they dont have my policy, they must simply pay me back all my insurance premiums paid to date, so i can cut my loses. Ps i am still holdiing!!!
