In January I logged a fault with Telkom because of connection and speed issues on my ADSL line. I was informed that the problem was due to an over-congested exchange in the area and that it would unfortunately take some time to be fixed. Three weeks later I followed up on the fault, but the consultant I spoke to was unable to give me any feedback.
Two weeks ago my phone line went completely dead. I assumed this might be due to work on the line, so I waited before phoning Telkom again. Today I decided to follow up once more, and I was lucky enough to get hold of a consultant who was both extremely professional and capable, Nksiyabo Ncangisa. He followed up the history of the fault (which had apparently been closed without my knowledge), lodged a new fault and escalated it immediately. I am very satisfied with how he handled my call and his professional phone manner.
Now I'd just like to actually see my problem get resolved please :)
