Around 27 January 2011 (over 2 years ago) I logged a call with Vodacom customer care regarding the terrible signal I receive at my home which is situated in Honeydew Ridge, Roodepoort. I explained that I own a rather expensive handset that I am unable to use as there is absolutely NO signal in my home. I spend most of the time walking around with the handset above my head trying to get "no service" to return to some form of service. I cannot obtain 3G either and am forced to drive out of the area if I wish to connect to the internet. I religiously pay my Vodacom account on a monthly basis and have always been a loyal supporter of Vodacom however I am losing my patience now as I am NOT receiving a service. After two years of complaints, I always get the same response. We are working on a tower in your area. Please be patient! I have been semi-patient for two years but has now become unacceptable. If I could get my hands on the CEO's contact details I would have escalated this directly to him however his details seem to be as scarce as the signal in my home. I would appreciate if someone attend to this urgently and fix it rather than givimg me the same answer and run around.
