Telkom
I'm still alive and well

At the end of January I noticed that Telkom had lowered their uncapped adsl cost substantially, and where I was busy researching a new ISP this helped cause it meant I didn't have to move. After spending an hour on the phone with them trying to set me up uncapped I was told they will send the issue to city bill and I would be called the next day. No call. I had to call Telkom back and spend another 90 mins on the phone and at the end I'm finally told the reason for the problem is that "the account holder is deceased." I was shocked and confused to say the least. How does that even happen? So I am told to go to a Telkom store with my ID and prove I'm alive which I do. And get the lady to help me at the Glen shopping centre. So for the month of feb I thought I was uncapped. But I reach the cap (quite quickly) and phone again and after a few days I receive a message that I'm still dead. So what now??? I've proved that I'm alive I pay the accounts (which Telkom sends a dead person apparently) and yet Telkom can't seem to get organized? Is my only option to change ISP?
