Holding me responsible for a acoount I never open

In 2011 MTN phoning me about a account that was open on my name. I phone them and tell them that in my whole life I never had a MTN account. They ask me to send a Affidavit through to them to say that I never open a MTN account.then I did it and e-mail it through to threm.then for a long time I didn't hear a word from them, until last year. They phone me again and say to me exactly the same thing that I did again. Then they send me sms to say if I pay my account Immediatly I will get discount. So never reply on that, because I know that I didn't open a MTN account.
