It is quite unfortunate that cellc & their staff blatantly to customers. An iphone 5 was handed back to the game city store on Friday 08/02/2013, within the first week of a new contract due to problems with the handset. Staff made it very, very clear that the process (be it either a repair or a new phone) would take between 7-14 days, win fact staff clearly stated that it will actually be resolved within 7 days. Based on this a sim swop was not done.
The 2 weeks had passed (as at Friday, 22/02/2013) &staff insisted that it had not been two weeks. Either way we received no feedback whatsoever from cellc at any point advising of any problems on hand. Only after sending someone in to the store on Friday & on requesting that a call be made to me, did staff call & provide excuses for cellc's inability to deliver on its promises. After all the excuses & apologies it was once again made quite clear to me that the phone will be in store by no later than Tuesday 27/02. To date as at 01/03 I have received no response, & my emails to the store & customer care ignored. You would think that the very basis of customer service i.e. open and honest communication would have been adhered to!
