I recently called Vodacom on the 26th and asked if they could change my debit order date to the 20th because they debit on the 28th when there is no money in my account. I had arrears at the time because of the late debit but I settled the arrears after the call I had made. The agent said it would be too late to avoid the impending debit and I said that is fine I would live with one last unpaid debit fee but I asked that they debit whatever is outstanding on 20th March. On the 28th they made three R485 debits which means I had to incur two additional unpaid fees to the tune of R276. I find this totally unacceptable and request that this money be paid back into my account.
