Cheap data no bandwith to back it!

I bought three 6x60 prepaid data packages from 8ta. Prior to making the purchase I bought a sim card to test connectivity in my area. At two occasions the 8ta staff validated on their system that I am living in an area with strong signals. Low and behold a week ago the connectivity dropped to Edge and throughout Johannesburg even in the City centre your connection are dropped regularly I reported the issue to the call center and I was told it would take 48 hours to investigate (welcome to the 18th century). I also then learned that people on monthly data contract have a fall back onto the MTN network but the like me on the prepaid system do not have this luxury. This was not disclosed at the time of purchasing the data!!! Nice adherence to the CPA hey 8ta!! 48 hours came and gone but nothing changed. The situation is actually worst. Do 8ta throttle the data at month end to look after their contract customers only? So the moral of the story...DO NOT BUY 8TA PREPAID DATA EVEN IF YOU STAY IN AN AREA WITH EXCELLENT SIGNAL STRENGTH AND IF YOU DO YOU WILL FIND THAT ONCE THEY YOUR MONEY YOU WILL SIT WITH A FACILITY THAT HARDLY OPERATE AT ALL. 8ta watse het ek gekoop
