Money Wrongfully Taken From My Account

Cellphone was 15th of December in an attempted hi-jacking. I made immediate contact was Altech (within an hour) to report the phone. I was immediately reissued with a new sim card. It initially took Altech 10 days just to reactivate my sim card, and have it register on the network. After numerous calls and much frustration, it was eventually found that they had not yet unblocked my number. Anyway. At the start of March I received a bill for over R7800, my average spend is R450. I was insistently told by Altech staff I had spent the money, and only after directly contacting Renita did someone actually investigate my claim and realize that this irregular money had been spent on the day of the phone. Altech failed to take my phone off the network, and allowed criminal expenditure on it for almost 12hrs after it being reported to them. It has been 27 days now, and they have still not refunded me the money they took out of my account. Renita was initially helpful and friendly, however this has changed. Today she insisted I had been paid the money, and only after I produced bank statements did she concede I had not been paid. I am disgusted by Altech in general
