I am trying to move my telkom line from one house to another. I arranged the entire thing with a consultant on 7 February - she gave me a reference number. Today I tried to arrange the move for a specific date. My reference number can not be allocated. My telephone number and accounts seem to be confused. And after holding 15 minutes for a consultant and then spending another 15minutes mainly holding so he can see if he can or cannot locate my line he says the order has not been placed. I told him no - that is the point of this call, to place the order to move the line on monday.
Then he puts the phone down in my ear.
How am I supposed to get service from telkom if the only way of getting service is through telephone consultants who are not equipped to offer me the service I have loyally been paying for for years?
