In September I took out an uncapped lite contract. The person said that I can cancel the contract within 5 days if I'm not happy with the service. As it is the network was horribly bad, so I took it back and cancelled the contract. End of the month I received an invoice (high but okay). The end of the next month I received another invoice, thus the contract wasn't cancelled. Emailed head office who replied that it was a mistake at the branch, went to the branch who replied saying that it is at HQ. Since then I have been in this epic battle of one useless branch manager, useless MTN, a highly irritated (hopefully with her manager) employee, and me wasting money phoning MTN to get a status update (with is exactly the same as the first day I made the complaint). This need to stop. Best advice I can give MTN, shutdown your network and close your doors because when I had a similar issue with Vodacom it was resolved within a week. MTN can't be bothered in helping their clients.
