BILLING FOR ACCOUNT NOT IN USE

I have had a 24 month contract with vodacom for a 3G 500meg internet usage. When it expired December 2012 I agreed that they could still charge me the R95 a month as before, knowing that it is in storage but I will need it again and not wanting to loose the card.

2 months later I get billed over R3000 for using 8GB!! Vodacom denies any simswap and denies opening the account without my consent to go over its limit of 500megs.

I have gotten police statements and have phoned their Department and I was justed asked to send the email to customercare. I have applied for a home loan and this is now in the way of approval!

Vodacom has no interest in helping me or locating where it has been used last as they said they cannot detect its location? Why then RICA??

I have been a loyal customer at Vodacom for years and I am disgusted in the way they help me attend to this serious concern. It is almost month end and vodacom says my account is in the rear by over R6000!!! The last time I have used this 3G card was September 2012!! I have relocated to Cape Town and the 3G is in boxes in storage.
