I called MTN The Glen to enquire if they had stock of the new Blackberry Z10. I was asked if it was for an upgrade or for a new contract. I told them it was an upgrade. They replied, "Sorry sir, we have stock but the stock we have is for new contracts, you can't get it on an existing contract." I then asked if I should cancel my existing MTN contract and open a new one to get the Z10 and to that i was told, "No sir, wait until next month and maybe we will have stock for you on your exiting contract."
Thanks MTN, after being a loyal customer for almost 3 years and having an average monthly bill of about R700, you show me the middle finger. But thank you for real this time because I have been contemplating my return to Vodaphone for a while and you have just made that decision for me. Perhaps their reception in the Meyersdal area of Alberton will at least allow me to make calls fairly regularly to!
