Hi,

I bought a Nokia Asha 311 at the shop on 4th December 2012 for my wife. On using it after 12-13 days the phone starts freezing and it won't function properly as it has to be switched off and on again and again. I returned it to the shop to get it fixed and got it back in January.

It started again in early February 2013, it will switch off on its own or while in a call. It also switches off while been charged and doesn't come on for some time. One has to wait till the phone decides to come on. I took it back to the shop yesterday, 20th February 2013 and to my surprise one of the sales guy told me they can't fix it despite having 1 year warranty.

He said these accordingly:
1, I am not a contract customer
2, The shop has a new owner
3, Phone is physically damaged

And about the physically damage story, which is obviously an excuse; the phone still has the screen plastic on it and no body damage whatsoever is on the phone. When I asked about the part that was damage, he couldn't proof that to me, saying it has scratches and my wife and I and friends can't seem to see any scratches.

If pictures of the phone is required, I wouldn't mind sending them.
