In July 2011 i paid up my contract this was 15 months before my contracted expired. in 2012 october i emailed cell c their standard cancellation letter and called a week later to check if it was received. The lady i spoke to confirmed that they got the letter and are waiting for the expiry of the contract to close/cancel it. To my suprise for the past two weeks MBD attorneys are calling me because i owe cell c R2, 000.00 and some odd cents. I called cell c to check what is happening and i was told i didn't pay up the contract, i asked the person i was talking to how that is possible if i called a week after sending my letter to check if everything is ok & i was told yes everything is ok we are just waiting for expiry date. He was gonna recon the account and come back to me. I called again last week and was told that all the payments were allocated & everything is fine but they'll call me to give me an update. to date no one has bothered to call me. the attorneys are still calling because i owe cell c. The most horrible service ever.
