Im in the hospitality industry & I KNOW WHAT SERVICE IS. I also know when someone did try and provide service, but MTN doesn't provide service.!
I took out a contract for a MTN internet data stick in Dec 12. It worked for ONE month only! I went back on the 2nd of Dec 13, I complained about this and then also took out a MTN dual sim option, for a mirco sim to use on my Ipad. A month later it still DID NOT WORK!! I went back AGAIN on the 7th of Feb 13, I complained about my internet not working AGAIN! Stiaan the "supervisor" assured me that it should be working in the next 36hours!! And AGAIN MTN didn't provide service. I called them on the 11th of Feb, &spoke to front desk lady Carol. She told me that Stiaan is in a meeting and that he will call me back.2hours went passed I phoned them AGAIN, she said she will divert me to someone that can help me, she diverted me and the line went onto voice mail, I phoned back AGAIN, she diverted me and the line was not in use! I phoned them AGAIN and this time she realized that Stiaan was Off days. That means she wasn't even bothered by my call, as I called 4 times, and she didn't pass the message on to Stiaan.
I Wasted R940!!!
