Cancelling my contract

The initial contract was taken in January 2011 at Carlton Centre. When i called through to the call centre (8080) i was told by the consultant (Stevenson) that my contract start date is September 2012, I then explained to him that it wasn't the correct date, that it was reactivated because it was blocked due to the fact that i had skipped payment for a couple of months so i had to pay up my account for it to be reactivated as i was told when i paid out that it wasn't possible to cancel at that time. the i had to wait until it expires in Jan. Then now i call in and my request has been rejected. No one explained to me that the contract started all over and is going to be like that for another 24 months. I cannot continue paying for the same phone that i have had the past 24 months and i don't want the contract anymore, This is bad service, i want the contract to be cancelled... MTN has such bad service
