Pre-paid SMSBundle Expiry Date

My Vodacom SMS bundle of about 80-odd SMSs was due to expire and normally I would buy a further 20 SMSs for R10 via my cellphone's airtime balance. Unfortunately I was travelling and was not able to buy the additional SMSs in order to extend my SMS airtime as the date expired and so I lost about 80 SMSs. Writing to Vodacom doesn't seem to help because the answer was "the SMS bundle is valid for 30 days" and that's it. This is the standard answer one gets from a company worth billions making millions in profits! One would think that with the intense competition in the cellphone industry they would be more accommodating to a customer of over 12 years OR they would make these SMS bundles valid to all their customer for 60 days or longer seeing that their pre-paid airtime is valid almost indefinitely. Scandalous behaviour from one of the biggies on the JSE! No wonder so many subscribers are voting with their feet in the direction of Cell C.
