I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet from Altech Autopage in December. I was happy with the sales team of Michelle Jobe and Ridwaan Govender. I placed positive comments on HelloPeter. During December and January I experienced technical problems with the device & communicated this to Altech. I was advised that they were waiting for new stocks and it would be replaced under warranty. Due to work commitments, I was away from home and the device could not be picked up recently. The most recent problem that I have encountered with the device is the failure to repeatedly boot up and remains frozen. My passwords and email are still on the device. If the device could boot up, I could erase all of my confidential data. I have tried to contact Autopage to explain that I cannot handover my device to a courier company to then arrange a replacement. I first need positive assurance that the device is wiped and the data not copied. I have telephoned and e-mailed my concerns with no success to arrange and discuss alternative arrangments. If this is not rectified, I am willing to cancel the contract. Sevice is terrible.
