My residence phone /ADSL Internet at 012 9911034 is not functional since 29 Jan 2013 and after several calls to Telkom and email to elevate the problem, no firm answer or feedback can be obtained on when the problem will be resolved, they say the work is being attended by a Technicians as per their sms received and apparently the whole Olympus (>1000 clients) are negatively affected for weeks now as was told to me by Telkom faults dept phone discussion. As client I find this kind of service not acceptable as Internet is an essential tool for any household. I have three students at home who have to complete work assignments and are very negatively affected by this. Telkom SA has the monopoly for line rental and the service levels stinks! If there was a second supplier of telecommunications in South Africa, we all would have used them rather than Telkom SA. Your urgent support in this matter will be appreciated
