I was called in Sep 2013 by a Nashua consultant confirming if I had applied for a cellphone contract as the banking details on the application did not match my ID. Even after confirming I had not and sending an affidavit to their risk and department the account was still opened!! After numerous emails sent and phone calls made to follow up on the matter, I was told by one of consultants beginning of Jan that it seemed the matter was resolved but they follow up with the risk department. I subsequently checked my credit report (with credit expert) and it seemed the number the account had been removed from my report so I assumed matter is resolved. Today, I try to finalise my home loan with FNB and to my surprise this Nashua contract STILL appears on my credit report and has NEGATIVELY affected my credit score and my home loan application!! I've always had an excellent record with no missing payments!! I'm beyond annoyed because its been over 4 months and I'm getting no response on the matter!!!
