On 12 Jan I went to the Knysna branch of Nashua Mobile to upgrade my sons contract. After completing the relevant forms, I was told that the fone would be ready for collection at the George branch the following Wed/Thu, and that someone would contact us in this regard.
By the 20th Jan (8 days later), no one had contacted us, so my son managed to get to the George branch, only to be told that the upgrade had not even been recorded on the system! I was the contacted by a lady, and then later by a gentleman, who said he would look into it and get back to me.
By the 23rd, I still had no feedback, so I emailed my concern to the customer care centre, to which I to this day have had no response!
Finally on 29Jan, I was contacted by the George branch that the fone was ready for collection - 17 days later!
However, it seemed as if the contract was not activated, as there was no airtime balance. I then contacted Danny at the George branch, who said he would look into it and come back to me. I'm still waiting!
My concern is the total lack of feedback from both the branch, as well as the customer care centre, and I am seriously considering taking my business elsewhere once my contract ends.
