POOR SERVICE/NETWORK

I ported from Vodacom to Cell C in April 2013 due to the packages offered for smart phones. It all seemed excellent so I purchased an iPhone 5 on a Straight up 200 contract. I have yet to receive a statement and after numerous phone calls to confirm my e-mail address, I have still received nothing. I have set my voice mail box 4 times and It automatically resets within a month. My contract has 700MB data monthly however, I have received only 500MB for the last 3 months without any explanation. I lose free minutes for calls that continuously fail. The signal quality is also pretty pathetic with most of JHB not having reception on CELL C.

This is extremely frustrating. I am paying for services and not receiving them. This is in breach of the agreed upon contract.

I am extremely frustrated with the pathetic service received thus far and would not mind paying a little extra to have stayed with Vodacom.

All in all, cell c has failed miserably as a cellular service provider. Low rates mean nothing if the basic functionality of a mobile device is made impossible with an inadequate service provision.
