I queried MTN this morning to tell them my debit order did not go through as I switched banks and did let them know well in advance of the change. Call center told me to phone back when it doesn't go through by the following day. Later the I received a sms that my account is in arrears and within minutes another sms that my debit order has been cancelled and i'm a cash paying customer. They treat me like a after they have not used the correct debit order details and causing much discomfort for me to set everything straight because of their incompetence. I now want to cancel my MTN contract after being a loyal customer for over 15 years. Very disappointed in MTN, but I'm sure there are other service providers that will be of better help.
