I was a contract user with MTN. I than cancelled it after settling my two years of their service. I was due for an upgrade I decided not to take it because I could not afford it. On 04/01/2014 I called to cancel and to be moved to a prepaid user. Which was done and I was happy. I try to get through to the call centre so I can settle any amount I owe them. I just can never. Now I get smses threatening me to suspend my services if I don't R462.99...*SHOCKED*. Not even my monthly payment came to that. Can someone from MTN please explain to me what is the R462.99 for? If I call 173 I get transferred but the call cuts because I'm not a contract user.
