After nearly 3 months of struggling to have 1 new contract (that turned out to be 2) to have cancelled and after following protocol as stipulated by Cell C, I have yet to receive return of illegally debited funds from my account.
Cancellation was done on the 19th November 2013. Only 1 account's funds have been returned, today only! I have yet to received remaining funds and written proof of cancellation. Zero electronic feedback has been received, yet billing statements are being sent like clockwork.
Customer Care/Accounts/Retainer departments cannot give me any solid information - information is passed onto the Billing department but NO feedback is received and NO means of making contact with this department whatsoever.
Cell C is constantly making a simple issue more and more unbelievably, ridiculously pathetic. I would never have suspected such service from a major telecommunications company. First complaint on this matter on this site has resulted in a half-assed attempt to rectify this issue, with no confirmation a standard practice.
