Shocking service after 5 years as a custome

On the 12 December 2013 i upgraded my contract, choosing Sony Z1, Pearl on the upgrade department promised me that it will only take 3-5 working days for me to receive the device, on the 18 December 2013 i received an sms from Nashua mobile Nedbank centre, Rivonia, advising me that i have to go the and collect the device, immediately i called Nashua Mobile customer Centre on 0861 412 412, to find out what happening, since i am based in Cape Town how can they deliver the phone to Rivonia, still i was assured by Sonia that it will be sorted out, today on 28-01-2014, on 27-12-13 i called to cancel the contract, i spoke to Thato i was told it will be sorted out, i must wait for the cancellation department to call me back, to which the never did, 24-01-2014 i called to find out, still the same, i still haven't received the device and i am expected to pay the full amount of the service they didn't even provide me with, the smile that they pride themselves with is completely gone from my face, now they want me to pay for the services that was not rendered, is this how you work? extort money frm innocent customer? how do you want me to for something that i don't even own?
