You pay and they still Debit

I am not pleased with the service I recieved from MTN today i have been overseas and the payments on my account have not come off so the first thing I did on my return was to go to MTN and settle my account

I then recieve an sms saying they will be debiting that same amount from my account after settling the account

I phone for assistance and am told I must go to the bank and reverse the payment at my own cost which is impossible because i will be overseas and unable to go to my bank.

second oh you will be in credit with MTN well I dont want to be in credit i need that money in my bank account.

This service is totally unacceptable and you are messing with your customers finances.

How can you debit an account when the money has already been paid it seems a little illegal to debit funds not owing?

And after speaking to people working in the bank MTN is the only entity able to stop the debit order.

I am so upset I signed into a contract for another 2 years when this is the service I can expect.
