MTN & MISREPRESENTATION

On 11/1/13 i went to the MTN store in La lucia & told the consultant i wanted an internet package for my ipad. I wanted to pay a flat rate per month and asked what he had on offer. I was told that the contract was R129 p.m for 2gb. I signed the contract on this basis. Each month thereafter my bank account was being debited for amounts more than what i contracted for. Tired of paying the high fees each month i went back to the the same store. I was advised that the contract i was on was an open line & that was why my bill was high each month. I told them that this was not what i had contracted for & that it was to be sorted out. I was told that i was unable to migrate the contract to a flat rate contract as it was a promo & as such migration couldnt be done with promos. I told him that this was unacceptable & that i wanted to terminate based on misrepresentation. Several emails were exchanged & the consultant advised that he was able to migrate my contract to a top up package at no migration cost & it would be a flat rate of R129 per month from 1/5/3. Months later my internet was cut off and i was advised that the migration never happened & im to pay R3556.88 on 1/12/13.
