Not Adhering to an Online Promise

Hi there

I've transferred a home line online and the advert online says that its done for free when done online and you get a cordless phone free. I was later asked to pay R318 before the guys could come and install it and i still have not received a free phone as promised.

I've been driving up and down wasting petrol to the Telkom direct shop in Centurion mall but nothing. they even let me write in their book for outstanding issues, but still have not heard from them. Late yesterday I went to the new direct shop in Mall @ Reds (closer to home) and they cant tell me when the stock is going to be available. Seems like no body knows but they work for the company. I was suppose to get this phone within 2 months of transferring my line, but i seem to be going for 4th month now.

That is poor service and also misleading as I was charged for the connection but in the meantime its advertised that its free.

Please assist in this matter
