I have a Giga 20 contract at R189 a month. According to the terms of the terms and conditions on Cell C's own website the out of bundle rates for both peak and off-peak periods is R0.15 (15 cents).
I exceeded my bundle by 2710mb. At 15c/mb that is R406.50, my invoice indicates R907 which equates to R0.34/mb. When I went into the store at Hillcrest corner they could not understand the pricing so they contacted the callcentre... The woman (Vilikasi, I think) was trying to explain to the store employee who said what she was telling him did not make sense and could she explain it directly to me. I spoke to her and she was rude and clearly did not understand the product because she started telling me the out of bundle rate was R0.99/mb!!! When I told her that all the Cell C documentation and there own website says R0.15/mb she asked to speak to the staff member again where she told him to show the brochure to me, when he told her that it said R0.15/mb and I found the t&c's for the giga 20 on the cell c website he told her and it appeared she cut the call!
I want to pay the rate that is on the website and I want an explanation for the incompetence of the callcentre!!!
