A contract was taken out on the 8th of December for an iPhone 5c. About 10 days later it goes into recovery mode. All holiday photos, wedding planning photos etc. GONE. On the 5th of January I took the phone back and it was sent to JHB to be assessed. Today I go into the store to follow up and am told the phone has come back because the, "find my iPhone" app was not switched off. Because of this, the technicians were unable to check the phone. I was never once told that I needed to turn that app off.
I will not wait another 2 days (nevermind 21!!!) for a dud phone to be looked at while I pay for data I'm not using. Will I be refunded for that unused data Cell C? I have been inconvenienced enough and now expect Cell C to make a concerted effort in rectifying this issue.
I want a new phone as soon as possible or I want this contract cancelled.
