Purchase of an LTE 100 Gigabyte Data Bundle

1) 12th October 2013 I purchased the product together with a SIM card. Presented all relevant documentation for RICA.
2) Data on the data bundle is valid for one year from the date of purchase.
3) 11th November 2013 received notification that the data would expire on the 12th December 2013= to two months' usage instead of one year.
4) Phoned Cell C's call centre and was told that the SIM card had been RICAed in someone else's name in December 2012 and that this was the reason why it was due to expire in December 2013. The consultant advised that I take the matter up with the store concerned as he could not help me any further due to the fact that the product is not RICAed in my name.
5) Contacted the store and they confirmed what I had been told. I pointed out to the manager that this constituted and insisted on speaking to the franchise owner. Told he was unavailable.
6) Couple of days later warning about expiry date disappeared. I presumed that the matter had been resolved.
7) The deadline for the expiry came and went but I did not have a need for the data so was unaware of the status quo.
8) 21st January 2014 tried to use it but data had expired.
