DISAPPOINTED IN SERVICE AND PRODUCT

I took out a new contract end of October 2013 for the Samsung S3 Mini. I took it out at MTN Riverside Mall in Vanderbijlpark.

On 30 December my screen just cracked. It just cracked! I took it in to the MTN store and they were not in the mood to help me, it was written on their faces. They immediately told me it is my own fault. They sent the phone to Midrand and they said it could be fixed at a charge of R996! Hello! This is a bran new phone that i barely had 2 months. You have disappointed me MTN! I am a very loyal customer and this is how you treat me? This is unacceptable!!! I had the phone sent back, why should I pay if you clearly gave me a phone with a factory default? No one has tried to help me, some my friends experienced the exact same thing which only tells me that Samsung has a flaw in their product, the only difference is that the other mobile providers went the extra mile and helped them and fixed the problem charge free! I am trying not to lose my temper, but if you are not willing to help me I will have to ask in the help of a lawyer and even give MTN and Samsung up at the Ombudsman if this problem does not get resolved.
