Bad quality product sold to consumers

I am utterly disgusted with the quality of the Samsung S3 cellphone. I cannot believe that this phone is sold to consumers such as myself by service providers without them telling us about the serious flaw of this phone. I have had my phone for less than 3 months and in this time it fell out of my pocket while protected by a cover..The screen cracked and I cant use the phone without probably cutting myself on the glass fragments. I have had many touchscreen cellphones before this and never have I seen such pathetic quality in a cellphone. I sadly know of numurous people with the same problem. Phones are made for everyday use and not for display in a glass case. Samsung also realized their fault when it came to the S4 because why would service providers give a 'fix your screen once for free coupon' when you purchase an S4?
I just cannot believe that we as the public can be ripped off like this. My message will probably fall on deaf ears as who can win against the mighty Samsung. But at least no one that sees my phone will ever buy a Samsung again. It makes me lose my confidence in all their other products.
