Tethering on telkom mobile

I have been patient with telkom regarding this. I use my ipad as my only data connection in the household. When I signed my contract with telkom in October, I informed them of this. Imagine my disappointment when I couldn't use the tethering on it, I was informed that it was in the process of getting resolved. But 3 months have passed, and no feedback.
