Virgin Mobile South Africa
UNJUST ACTION BY VMSA

To cut a long story short, my debit orders go off on the 15th of every month. Last year on the 13th May 2013 I sent VMSA a email through their CONTACT US facility on the website advising them that I would not have the necessary funds on the 15th for the debit order to go through and that I would pay as soon as I had money. Needless to say I heard nothing from VMSA and then the threatening phone calls started when the debit order was returned. I was told that if I did not pay I would be listed at the Credit Bureau. Once again I explained my position and I thought the matter had been settled but then I had another call on the same lines. A did not communicate with B. Needless to say the outstanding amount was paid in full by the 27th may 2013. I decided to get a credit report as I wanted to see if VMSA had listed me with the credit bureau. Lo and behold I am on the credit bureau with VMSA for an arrears account for 60 and 90 days! My account is not in arrears. I never missed one payment but some one decided to list me because I paid 12 days late? How does paying 12 days late equate to 60 or 90 days arrears?
