My account with MWEB was cancelled in October 2013. They were supposed to refund in full my October 2013 fees due to having locked me out of my account for longer than a calendar month. I was so happy to be rid of the nuisance of having to deal with this company that I never followed up again!
Today I received a sms stating that MWEB will list me for non payment with the credit bureau.
I investigated and see that my service charges on 31/10/2013 was R 339.00
However MWEB only refunded me R 234.43 on 27/11/2013.
In other words MWEB, you still owe me R 104.57.
I expect someone to sort out this business with the credit bureau as a matter of urgency.
If I end up being blacklisted incorrectly and need to go through Credit Ombudsman to rectify, there is certainly going to be additional litigation.
