About 8 years ago I had a telkom landline. When I relocated, I had the line disconnected and settled the outstanding bill.
Recently I bought a new house and wanted to have a telkom line installed. Now suddenly I owe them R1500, where they get that amount only they will know. And ofcourse I can't get a line installed in my new house.
Nobody in the last 8 years contacted me, surely they would've contacted me if I had an outstanding account. My ITC definitely don't even reflect any telkom account.
One thing I can promise telkom, I will fight this, in the public domain, make sure my fellow South Africans know how telkom is taking us for a ride, at the end I will win and it would've cost telkom more than R1500. This will not be the first time that I take big fat cat corporate's on - thank heaven's for social media - now let me get started
