Let down by Vodacom System, not my fault

I contacted Vodacom on the 4 Jan 2014 to ask them if its possible to pay half my account on the 7 Jan (my debit date) and the rest on the 25 Jan. The consultant said that I have a 00.00 balance on my account, and because of my over payments they will not deduct any money from me in January, but only on the 7 Feb 2014. I asked her 3 times if she is sure, and after checking the system she assured me there is no debit scheduled for my account. I thanked her and left it there. On the 8 January a derect debit went of my account from vodacom, and due to lack of funds in my account it was returned! I contacted vodacom immediately and asked them whats going on? they said that my account have a 00.00 balance, and after explaining it to the consultant he said he will lodge a complaint. At the customer care centre in PMB they assured me I have a 00.00 balance on my account and dont know why vodacom put it in arrears. They adviced me to phone the accounts department and explain it to them. I did and they insisted that my account is in arrears and they will lodge another complaint as previous ones was done wrong! I have not received any feedback. My credit reverence is damage by this.
