Phoned Vodacom Customer Service in an attempt to pay an account. Had a hard time getting them listed as a beneficiary and when contacting the service centre in an attempt to resolve this, the agent was very rude, disrespectful and adamant that it was not "their problem" I then requested to speak to a manager. Not only was I put on hold but the call was reconnected while the agent was still briefing the manager and I overheard her very snide comments and remarks when repeating the conversation. When the manager came online, she only identified herself as "the manager" after I asked who I was speaking to and she was even ruder when addressing the issue. Unfortunately this is not the first I have heard of Vodacom's horrific service and bad attitude, it is just my first time experiencing it first hand. Shocking and totally unacceptable!!!
