8ta have endless problems on their side. First it was my phone that was charged extra on data because 8ta could not deliver a network service as they advertise. This I reported to ICASA and telkom was suddenly very helpful. My wife have a problem with her new contract phone and we send it in on the 27th of November 2013 (phone is faulty). Up and until now the only response we get is they are awaiting spares for more than a month and I still have to pay for the phone witch I dont use. They offered us a refurbished phone which i do not except because i went to the store to buy a new one not second hand. I have also escalated this issue to ICASA for resolution because telkom seems to be very scared of them. I would recommend escalating all your telecommunication problems to, Independent Communications Authority of South Africa (ICASA)
