Telkom - DSL Line Fault - Last chance to keep bus

I've been having constant issues with our Telkom DSL line that we have at home. I've logged a line in early December, only to have Telkom continually say that they've 'Tested the line and found it to be free of defects'. Each time I've spoken to a call-centre operator, I've asked them to actually check the speed at which our connection is syncing (generally around 700kbps down, which is far below -6000kbps that it normally does)

I've asked on numerous occasions for a site technician to come and fix the problem. We've had this exact issue in the first half of last year and it was a isolated to a fault on our port at the nearest DSLAM.

At this point, I find it highly frustrating to have to continually phone the call-centre, if I want to get anywhere.

I think, things are getting so bad with Telkom, that I doubt they even bother with HelloPeter reviews anymore.

I just want a technician to check the problem out. Telkom is so obsessed with ranting about their 'unnecessary callout fees' on their DSL fault line that they make it blatant that they're apathetic to any customer of theirs that experiences issues.

For the love of all that is good, I would like stable internet in 2014!!
