How long should I still wait

Hi,

I have been struggling to cancel my 8ta contract since 19 November. I sent the request on the 19th after i was informed that the process was to send a cancellation form to the [Email Removed] email address. I requested on this mail for a confirmation of receipt of cancellation.

I followed up on the 25th of November telephonically. The person indicated that they could not verify whether the cancellation was received and that the only way was to wait and see if the debit order does not go through at the end of the month. I said that this was ridiculous and that they should be able to track this. The person said that my only option as to send a mail to the "retainme" emai, address again. This i did, but again received no reply.

Needless to say, now a month has passed, and the contract has NOT been cancelled and another debit order has been deducted. This is not acceptable! Now I need to follow up again and probably wait another month!!!
