I took out a data contract for Vodacom telephonically, and the agent assured me on multiple occasions that there would be a cap on the data once the limit was reached. When my bill was over R2000 over the limit, I queried it with the call center where the person that assisted said it was VERY strange that no sms's were sent to say that I had hit 70%, 90% and 100% of my 2GB cap. He says that the cap should have been initiated multiple times over the many connections I made to the service after I had passed the 2GB mark. The cap that Vodacom promised me is STILL not active on my data contract.
I logged a service request, but the call center has no way of getting feedback on my service request reference number, and after 10 days I have had NO feedback.
VERY FRUSTRATING, and I can not afford to pay R2000 unnecessarily when the company seems to have no interest in resolving my query.
