So I complained a month ago about the horrid customer service I had when handing my cell phone in for repairs at Autopage's headoffice. They contacted me several times ensuring me that in future I can be assured of better customer service.
So after not having heard ANYTHING from them since 19 November, I decided to call them and ask them what the status is on my cell phone repair. Only to be told the phone is fixed and was delivered to Benmore branch. I asked very specifically if they are VERY sure it is there especially since I've never even been in the store - I handed the phone in at head office. Yes, it is there I can go and fetch it.
Drove to Benmore, and guess what - NO PHONE!! Several calls later and the assistant in the shop could not determine where my phone is. He could confirm that the phone was apparently sent back from repairs to head office on 6 December. I, however, received NO CALLS, NO SMS, NO EMAIL. So my question is - where on earth is my phone and how does this show improved customer service? And does Autotech seriously think I will renew my contract or recommend them in future?
