I have raised my concern with vodacom on several occasions regarding the bad reception that I experience at my residence situated at Royal Oak Estate, Centre Road, Morningside, Sandton. I have requested technicians to physically come to my place of residence and to a test in terms of reception quality. My calls have fallen on deaf ears and empty promises.
I struggle with utter frustration to get reception on both my laptop and cellphone. I am based near the Sandton CBD hub and cannot understand why this is the case. I have been a vodacom contract customer for over a decade and have been very dutiful in my monthly contract payments. At one stage I held 13 contracts and always committed to my payments on time.
I very recently upgraded my contract & am now paying a minimum of R1, 000 a month for the next 24 months. I work from home and use my phone for business purposes.
With the extreme lack in reception, I am unable to properly conduct my business. I very urgently and need the matter resolved with no further delays. I now plan not to pay my vodacom account going forward until the matter of poor reception is resolved. Why should I enrich vodacom for nothing?
