I had a 2GB per month Data contract, which had been running for 21 months, and I never exceeded the contract fee of R149 per month. In October I signed up for a voice contract as well, and mtn messed it up totally. It took a week before they got it working, and included a number change required to activate the sim.

Co-incidentally on the same day, apparently my data contract invoice got cut off, with an invoice run on both 7 October as well as 11 October.

Suddenly my data contract (they claim) is almost R15 000, on a day where I should not have had a cut-off. Half of my statements include this amount, others don't.

I have requested itemised statements 6 times, and have not yet received a single one. I have requested breakdown of calculations multiple times, still waiting.

I have intentionally blocked the debit order for 2 months, and refuse to allow it to go through until I get an itemised bill. Not too much to ask is it?

Now my service is suspended for non payment. Nice move mtn. You refuse to provide an itemised bill, and expect me just to pay?
