I have had direct debit mandate coming off my bank account for a 3G contract with MTN. Each and every month my bill is R149 as I never ever exceed the amount of data I get on that contract (2 Gigs). In October I was charged R 1786.47... After shockingly bad customer service. I lodged at complaint on hello peter and received feedback "Kindly be advised that the charges for Internet usage depicts usage over and above the allocated 2G Data bundle for the Billing cycles of August and September invoices. The internet charges are volume based for the sessions on particular dates and times. The itemised Bill will only show the dates and times and the volumes of data transmission and not the actual content downloaded." This is simply not possible! Also my useage history on my device does not give any indication that I have exceeded my 2G bundle! It is unacceptable!!! I will carry on lodging complaints every five days until someone gives me some more satisfactory answers!!! I am completely exacerbated and MTN NEEDS to reimburse me this money!
